How to Find
Frenchgate Christian Centre, Frenchgate Road, Hampden Park. Eastbourne.

 

Frenchgate Christian Centre is situated on the East side of Hampden Park in Frenchgate Road, off Lottbridge Drive.

 

1) FROM LONDON OR BRIGHTON direction the best way is to get on to the A22 at Polegate Cross roads and continue for about 2 miles to the large Willingdon round-about. Take the first main exit left along Kings Drive. In about 300 yards turn left at a mini-round-about into Decoy Drive. Follow this road for about 1 mile into Hampden park village, past a parade of shops and over the railway crossing. At the next large round-about, some 100 yards on from the crossing, take the first exit left into Lottbridge Drive (not Drove). Frenchgate Road is the 1st on the right in about 150 yards.

 

2) FROM HASTINGS follow the A259 along the coast into the outskirts of Eastbourne. When you come to a large round-about with STAPLES store immediately in front and to the left, take the 2nd exit left into a dual carriageway, which is Lottbridge Drove (not Drive),Tesco stores on the left. Go over another 3 round-abouts, in about 1 mile, and at the fourth round-about (Harvey Moon Pub on the left) take the 2nd exit left into Lottbridge Drive. Frenchgate Road is the 1st on the right in about 150 yards.

 

3)FROM CENTRAL EASTBOURNE there are 3 main routes.

        a. Along Seaside and then Seaside Road until you reach the large round-about with STAPLES store on the right. Take the 1st exit left into Lottbridge Drove dual carriageway and follow instructions as in (2) above.

 

        b. Along Lewes Road and Kings Drive (on way to A22). Continue over the large round-about at the Eastbourne District and General Hospital and across one more mini-round-about. Through a set of traffic lights and at the next mini-round-about,in approximately 150 yards, turn right into Decoy Drive. The follow instructions

as in (1).

 

       c. Along Lewes Road and Kings drive (on way to A22). At the large round-about at the Eastbourne District and General Hospital turn right and take the third exit left into Cross Levels way. At the next round-about , in about 100 yards, take the exit left. Follow the road up to and across the next round-about (Sainsbury's store on the left) .

The road crosses over the railway and at the next large round-about take the 1st exit left into Lottbridge Drove. At the second round-about (Harvey Moon pub on the left) take the 2nd exit left into Lottbridge Drive. Frenchgate Road is the 1st on the right in about 150 yards.(This way into East Hampden park avoids the level crossing which is in constant use).
